Get involved with MountainTrue’s Recycling Team!

The team promotes city, county and regional recycling, including curb-side pick-up and advocacy towards improved Reduce, Reuse, and Recycling programs.

The team educates the public and policymakers about best practices by speaking at Commission meetings, writing letters to the editor, holding public forums, contacting schools and businesses, and organizing eco-tours.

Every January, the Recycling Team also coordinates Christmas tree recycling with Henderson County.

Meetings are held at 4:00 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month in the Hendersonville Community Co-Op’s Community Room located at 60 S. Charleston Lane, Hendersonville, NC 28792.
